The rock'n'popmuseum offers guided tours for music loving over-60s
A journey through the history of music that will take you back in time to the days of your youth - this is a tour the rock'n'popmuseum regularly hosts for music-loving over-60s. Tours take place on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 2.30 p.m.
You hear a few strains and you instantly feel those goosebumps popping up - just like after your first kiss, your first heartbreak or a fantastic concert. We all have these memories, which are closely connected with certain songs or bands. But especially the over-60s have lots of them to cherish. A special guided tour is now dedicated to the world of their youth. Elvis, the Beatles, Pink Floyd, rebels, hippies, rockers, punks, civil rights activists - they all pop up on this journey through the world of music at the rock'n'popmuseum. And visitors can experience them up close through videos, interviews, personal exhibits and images - all made possible by state-of-the-art technology. This journey through the history of music takes them back in time to their own youth and their own memories. After the tour of the exhibition, visitors are invited to chat about their impressions over coffee and cake.
The tour costs €14.50 including admission, the guided tour and coffee and cake. It starts at 2.30 p.m.
